Explore federal, state, and local grants, loans, and guarantees that are available to qualified businesses to fund the growth of their companies. The nonprofit lender LiftFund is hosting a one-hour webinar to help small business owners and entrepreneurs determine which option is best for their business before spending time researching irrelevant programs. The event takes place online on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:30 am MDT.

Hosted by LiftFund and featuring speaker Forrest Seale of Forthian Partners, the event gives entrepreneurs an overview of federal, state, and local funding options available in the LiftFund service area. LiftFund, which is based in San Antonio, Texas, serves New Mexico and 14 other states, providing loans and special financing to business owners who might not otherwise be eligible for a traditional loan.
For example, business grants are often available to qualifying businesses after a declared disaster. Grants that aim to develop the economy of specific towns or neighborhoods may also be available. And grants often apply to under-served populations or community groups. LiftFund keeps tabs on most of them.
Loan guarantees can increase the amount of money a business can access. For example, the SBA 7(a) Community Advantage loan program is the United States Small Business Administration’s most flexible loan program. It can be used for a wide range of business needs – such as for working capital, buying equipment, inventory, debt refinancing, or even purchasing real estate. Another SBA loan, the SBA 504, is typically used for buying or improving long-term fixed assets – like land, buildings, or large machinery. This option is typically best for established businesses looking to make big moves. LiftFund facilitates financing for both of these programs.
For business owners with limited credit, collateral, or experience, LiftFund works to find funding that helps build credit and improve finances. It partners with donors, cities, and community organizations to offer special programs that make funding even more accessible.
