The nonprofit lender LiftFund is hosting an online introduction to government programs that business owners can tap into for business funding. The one-hour webinar takes place on July 15, 2026, at 10:30 am Mountain Daylight Time. Discover the latest government funding programs and resources available to help finance and grow a small business in 2026.
Hosted by LiftFund and featuring speaker Forrest Seale of Forthian Partners, the event gives entrepreneurs an overview of federal, state, and local funding options available in the LiftFund service area. LiftFund, which is based in San Antonio, Texas, serves New Mexico and 14 other states, providing loans and special financing to business owners who might not otherwise be eligible for a traditional loan.

For example, the SBA 7(a) Community Advantage loan program is the United States Small Businss Administration’s most flexible loan program. It can be used for a wide range of business needs – such as for working capital, buying equipment, inventory, debt refinancing, or even purchasing real estate. Another SBA loan, the SBA 504, is typically used for buying or improving long-term fixed assets – like land, buildings, or large machinery. This option is typically best for established businesses looking to make big moves. LiftFund facilitates financing for both of these programs.
For business owners with limited credit, collateral, or experience, LiftFund works to find funding that helps build credit and improve finances. It partners with donors, cities, and community organizations to offer special programs that make funding even more accessible.
