Business Resource Information from the Pros

The New Mexico Small Business Development Center in Farmington is teaming with at least twelve other business resource organizations at an in-person event at the San Juan College Quality Center for Business on March 20, 2025. The event aims to connect small businesses with resources that can help them grow.

Organizations such as New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Sandia National Labs will be on hand. Both organizations offer services through the New Mexico Small Business Assistance Program, which pairs laboratory staff and manufacturing experts with businesses needing specialized services.

In addition to the SBDC, other organizations participating include UNM Rainforest Innovations, the New Mexico Trade Alliance, and the Farmington Chamber of Commerce.

Women entrepreneurs will find resources from the WESST Women’s Business Center, and Native American businesses can connect with the Shiprock Regional Business Development Office, the American Indian Business Enterprise Center (AIBE) at NMSU Arrowhead Center, and the Southwest Native Assets Coalition.

The New Mexico Economic Development Department will also be on hand, along with the Internal Revenue Service, San Juan College Center for Workforce Development, HB2, and CREW.

Topics include small business loans, small business grants, small business assistance programs, and regulatory information.
