Business Growth Summit Features Access to Capital

The nonprofit lender and business development organization WESST, which offers consulting services and resources to small-business owners, will be on hand at the Business Growth Summit on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Albuquerque to discuss how entrepreneurs can access capital for their startup or established company.

The all-day New Mexico Business Growth Summit brings together resource providers, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses to discuss tools and connections that entrepreneurs and business owners can use to grow their enterprises. Sponsored by SCORE, the event includes expert-led breakout tracks, panel sessions, networking, a resource expo, and speed mentoring with industry experts. Three tracks allow participants to customize their experience to their needs and business stage: startup, existing, or mature.

WESST is part of the “Access to Capital” panel. In addition to training and consulting services, WESST offers business loans as low as $500 and business financing up to $50,000 with fixed interest rates. Loan recipients work with a WESST consultant throughout the loan term.

Other panels discuss cybersecurity and risk, AI, and digital marketing tools that can be used immediately to grow a business.

Business-to-business networking will happen throughout the day over snacks and a buffet lunch. A speed mentoring session that matches business owners and entrepreneurs with resource providers and industry experts will also be available. A photographer will be on hand to provide professional headshots. Everything, including the photo, is included in the $45 registration fee.

The August 6 event takes place at the Berna Facio Professional Development Center, 3315 Louisiana Blvd NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
