The Albuquerque co-working organization FatPipe and the business development organization WESST want to help businesspeople become better leaders. FatPipe is offering a six-workshop series called “What type of leader are you?” and WESST’s Rio Rancho center will host virtually “Position Expectations,” a workshop to help business owners and managers provide clarity to employees and team members.
The first event in the FatPipe series takes place on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the coworking space located at 200 Broadway Blvd NE in Albuquerque. Participants are invited to bring a “brown bag” lunch for consumption while listening to the speaker. Participants will learn about two tools to help them understand the experience of those they work with and live with on a regular basis. Registration is required. Register here. The WESST workshop takes place online on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Participants will gain a path to providing clarity to team members. “We all aspire to have a high-performing and highly capable team,” says the description. “The foundation for this success comes from defining clarity for each role in your business.” Participants will learn how to establish necessary roles, develop and write a clear Position Expectation for each role, and use each Position Expectation to improve hiring. One-on-one counseling will be available to participants after the workshop. Registration is required. Register here. See all upcoming WESST workshops here.
