The New Mexico Angels have joined forces with ABQid to increase quality interactions between early-stage startup companies and angel investors. The organizations aim to support startup founders with connections and feedback with the goal of helping them to potentially receive investment in their business venture. Roundtables are private events between founders and investors. Startups must apply online for consideration. The next Roundtable takes place on February 12.
Any New Mexico start-up eager to learn from and build relationships with local investors is encouraged to contact ABQid to express interest. Startups that are a part of ActivateNM, ABQid’s tech-focused accelerator, are automatically considered for the event. Unlike ABQid’s popular pitch events — Ski Lift Pitch and Balloon Pitch — this event is not a competition. It is focused on learning and relationship building for companies, rather than picking a single winner.
