ASCEND2.0 is a collaboration of entrepreneurs, funders, and educators to help technology startups gain traction.
ASCEND2.0 bills itself as “accelerating commercialization and technology transfer by empowering innovators to accelerate biomedical commercialization through education, mentorship, and business consultation.” ASCEND2.0 is funded by a $3.25M grant from the National Institutes of Health I-RED program to build entrepreneurship training in the western states of New Mexico, Alaska, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming.
Through a series of twelve YouTube videos, technology entrepreneurs can learn ‘How to Start a Business,’ ‘Introduction to Pitching,’ ‘Funding,’ and more.
