Resource Fair Has Answers for Small Businesses

SCORE is hosting a small-business resource fair to help entrepreneurs and business owners access free and low-cost resources and make connections that can help them grow their companies or ideas. The free event runs from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Sid Cutter building at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque.

Representatives from the nonprofit lender WESST, the Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE), the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC), and local economic development organizations will be on hand.

Many businesses are unaware of the valuable resources available in their community. This event is an opportunity to explore a variety of services and programs that aim to help businesses start, grow, or sustain in Albuquerque’s thriving ecosystem. Resource partners invited to the event are eager to talk one-on-one with business owners.

Resources range from loans such as SBA microloans to workshops, individualized consulting services, and specialized programs for veterans and their family members transitioning to the private workforce.

Meet representatives from the City of Albuquerque Economic Development Division for information, resources, and support tailored to specific business needs. Learn how the City of Albuquerque’s Long Range Planning Department can provide resources to businesses impacted by the Balloon Fiesta and other community developments.

The first 100 people to attend will receive a free food truck voucher.
