Native American entrepreneurs, business owners, and community members in New Mexico can learn how to start a business at an online workshop hosted by the American Indian Business Enterprise Center at NMSU’s Arrowhead Center. The one-hour event, called From Idea to Enterprise, starts at 4:30 pm MDT on August 5, 2026. Registration is required.

The American Indian Business Enterprise (AIBE) Center is Arrowhead Center’s initiative to support Native American entrepreneurs through tailored resources, mentorship, and community partnerships that strengthen and grow Native-owned businesses across all stages. It serves Native American entrepreneurs, business owners, and community members from any stage of business development, with a focus on culturally relevant support and inclusive economic opportunity.

AIBE is dedicated to eliminating knowledge gaps and providing unique resources for Native American entrepreneurs at every stage of business development. It fosters connections by collaborating with Native American organizations, stakeholders, business owners, and community members. AIBE’s mission is to provide high-quality, relevant services, resonating with unique communities and increasing economic opportunity. It values partners’ insights as it works towards growing Native entrepreneurship.
