Do you make beef jerky at home? Or maybe homemade sausage in your garage? Aspiring meat processing entrepreneurs can get business assistance and loan advice from the Biz Sprint program Arrowhead Center.

The Arrowhead Center at New Mexico State University, in collaboration with the U.S. Economic Development Administration, is offering a free business support program to existing and aspiring meat processing business owners in southern New Mexico. Called BizSprint Meat Processors, the 6-week virtual business support program will feature a curriculum designed to support participants in developing and strengthening their businesses through guided exploration of the Business Model Canvas.
Participation includes personalized resources and assistance, mentorship, networking opportunities, and connections to business experts who specialize in digital marketing, accounting, business finance, and social media management. This virtual course can be accessed from the comfort of a home or office.

- Peer support and networking
BizSprint Meat Processors will run every Tuesday, from July 1 to August 5, 2025.
Applications, which are due by June 17, 2025, can be submitted online.
