April is Financial Literacy Month, and for business owners, that means getting business finances in order. The business development organization WESST is offering a workshop in Santa Fe from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on April 22, 2025, to teach business owners how to use the QuickBooks financial and accounting software.
The in-person hands-on workshop will demystify QuickBooks and introduce participants to essential terms, features, and navigation tips in an approachable, practical way. With a fun, “play in the sandbox” style, participants will get hands-on practice and a high-level understanding of QuickBooks basics. A deeper dive into features and links will give participants the confidence to manage business bookkeeping with ease.
Stephen Vigil will lead the workshop. Vigil is a native Santa Fean with over 20 years of experience in accounting. He holds a BBA in financial management and is a certified internal auditor.
