Small-Grant Program Accepting Applications

Businesses in Northern New Mexico can apply for up to $3,000 in funding from the Regional Development Corporation’s Micro-Grant program. Businesses must be headquartered within the RDC’s service area and owners must attend a webinar scheduled for April 12, 2022.

The RDC’s Micro-Grant Fund provides a small infusion of capital that helps businesses diversify, sustain or grow revenue, leverage other investments; and put systems in place that lead to growth and create job opportunities. The RDC provides technical support and information on other funding opportunities to all applicants, regardless of whether or not they are awarded funding.

The RDC serves seven Northern New Mexico counties: Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, San Miguel, Santa Fe, and Taos. Businesses located in municipalities and Native American Pueblos within those counties are eligible to apply; however, the Micro-Grant application will only be made available to webinar attendees. The webinar takes place from 10:00 – 11:00 am on April 12.

The RDC serves businesses located in the counties of Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, San Miguel, Santa Fe, and Taos.

Companies must have a business license, CRS number, business bank account, and be at least 6 months old at the time of grant application. Funds may be used to obtain equipment, purchase consulting services or specialized software, or pay for marketing.

Company leaders that attend the April 12 webinar have until 5:00 pm on May 2 to submit an application.
