Technology entrepreneurs interested in learning about assistance available from Los Alamos National Laboratory should attend the free Showcase and Demo Day on Monday, July 17 in Los Alamos. The event brings together investors, entrepreneurs, business owners, laboratory employees, and others seeking information about commercialization activities and technology acceleration opportunities at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Seating is limited, and attendees are asked to RSVP in advance for the free event.
Part of Los Alamos ScienceFest, the event offers the opportunity to see what New Mexico startups and the laboratory are doing in biotech, aerospace, and clean energy. The morning features nine pitches from five New Mexico Lab-Embedded Entrepreneur Program (NM LEEP) Fellows, two UC-LANL Entrepreneur Postdoc Accelerator participants, one Los Alamos staff member, and one New Mexico startup in biotech, aerospace, and clean energy transition as they highlight innovative solutions they are developing for these markets.
In the afternoon, attendees will engage in round table conversations with investors, government leaders, researchers, and local businesses who will discuss trends and opportunities in energy and space economies within the state.
Opportunities to collaborate and transition technology out of Los Alamos are plenty, and attendees will learn how they can obtain assistance with commercialization and product development. Technologies available for transition into the market will be showcased.
Attend to hear innovators like molecular biologist and NM LEEP Fellow Kristina Trujillo discuss her company’s technology and path to commercialization. Trujillo leads T-Neuro Pharma, which is developing a simple blood test to determine the presence of Alzheimer’s disease and advance a treatment to prevent its development and stop its progress.
