Business owners interested in learning how to protect their creations should attend WESST’s Intellectual Property workshop at 6:00 pm on June 12 in Bernalillo. The workshop is geared toward artists, however, all business owners will find the information can help them protect their logo and product packaging designs.

Attorney Victor Grafe III will provide an overview of the various types of intellectual property that businesses may develop, own, and monetize. He will examine how to make these laws work for artists and business owners, as well as the critical topics of avoiding infringement liability and defending against infringement by others. This is the second session of the series called Legal Foundations. Attendance at Session 1 is not obligatory for Session 2.
