Govt. Contracting as Path to Increased Revenue

Business owners curious about growing their businesses through government contracting can attend one or more upcoming webinars, workshops, and accelerator programs.

The business development organization WESST is offering Are You Ready to Grow Your Sales with Government Contracts? on May 11, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The online workshop will provide an overview of Federal and State Contracting, as well as the requirements that allow businesses to engage in government contracting. The training is the first in a series of three Government Contracting sessions. Event organizers say the session will teach:

  • First steps to becoming a Federal or State Contractor
  • How to explore the SBA Certification Programs
  • Marketing your business for Federal and State Contracting
  • Finding job opportunities

The series continues on May 25 with Getting Your First Federal Contract, also online, which will offer tips for obtaining a first contract and connecting with governmental organizations to win future contracts.
