Several upcoming programs are designed to help innovators and entrepreneurs get new products to market.
The fifth annual Inventors and Entrepreneurs Conference takes place at New Mexico Tech in Socorro on Thursday, October 14, 2021. The one-day business startup event is devoted to creativity and success. Organizers aim to facilitate the progression of ideas from conception to market.
Participants have the option of attending in person or virtually. Registration fees, which range from $25 to $75 (for last-minute registration), include breakfast snacks, buffet lunch, and break refreshments. The event is free to New Mexico Tech alumni.
Organizers caution participating inventors to leave their prototype at home or in the workshop unless they have either a patent application or provisional filed.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is offering a free, virtual program to provide information about resources available to the Hispanic innovation community.
