Individuals, businesses, and organizations in Santa Fe can apply for funding from the Go Local Go Different Fund, a community-focused regional grant opportunity that aims to support projects, events, and programs that strengthen Santa Fe’s local economy and businesses. Awards must be used for strategic or programmatic projects, event support, or sponsorships. Applications will be accepted up until midnight on February 5, 2026.

The Santa Fe Office of Economic Development is one of many regional organizations filling the void left by national business grant programs that have recently shuttered. Similar to other regional opportunities, Santa Fe’s Go Local Go Different Fund supports initiatives that help local businesses thrive, activate neighborhoods, expand workforce opportunities, and contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of cities.
Go Local Go Different eligible projects should align with Santa Fe’s designated focus areas, which include creative industries and cultural economy, entrepreneurship and small business support, workforce development, placemaking and public activation, economic mobility and equity programs, and other programs within the city’s targeted industry development areas.
Awards of up to $10,000 are allocated for strategic or programmatic projects, while event support or sponsorship awards are up to $5,000. All funded activities must conclude by the end of June 2026.
The city is offering a webinar on January 20 that is intended to help applicants better understand the goals of the fund and its criteria. Participants are asked to register in advance for the webinar that takes place at 12:30 pm
