The LATINA Style Business Series is coming to UNM’s Smith Brasher Hall in Albuquerque on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Billed as the nation’s premier business development program for Latina entrepreneurs, the event aims to connect influential Latina professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.
The distinctive conference, called “Artistry & Empowerment: Nurturing LATINA Entrepreneurs to Inspire, Innovate, and Thrive,” offers entrepreneurs an array of enriching opportunities, including an exhibit area with a networking breakfast, impactful sessions, the Latina Entrepreneur Award ceremony, and a luncheon featuring a captivating keynote speaker. According to organizers, attendees will gain valuable insights into integrating creativity into business strategies, monetizing unique talents, and leading with purpose and vision.
Typical participants are Latina business owners seeking to grow their businesses and Latina professionals interested in starting a business. Each event typically attracts 200 to 250 attendees.
According to the LATINA Style Business Series website, the program emphasizes creating a solid business foundation for the Latina entrepreneur. Corporate sponsors and partners provide nationally recognized expert panelists to speak about specific categories of expertise. The program covers a wide range of topics, including access to capital; strategic sales & marketing strategies; professional, technology, and communications services; and corporate & federal procurement opportunities.
Established in 1998 with the support of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the LATINA Style Business Series has reached more than 40,000 Latina business owners from 150 cities. The series selects host cities every year, and in 2025, it has included Albuquerque.
