Several June and July conferences aim to offer networking opportunities and equip participants with knowledge about business resources and available capital, including loans and grants. The nonprofit lender and business development organization WESST is offering a half-day Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference in collaboration with Arrowhead Center at NMSU on July 18. The Atomic 66 Convergence of Space, Art, Tech, and Culture takes place June 10 to 13, and the Women Veterans Conference is June 14, 2025.
The Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference is focused on branding and storytelling for business marketing. Participants will learn how to use storytelling to create a brand message that attracts clients and turns them into buyers. Organizers encourage participants to bring authenticity rather than marketing and branding ideas that turn themselves and their businesses into an ideal and something that they are not. The event is part of Arrowhead Center’s We Mean Business Financial Empowerment series. Register for the July 18, 2025 Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference that starts at 8:30 am in Las Cruces.
Atomic 66 from June 10 to 13 addresses a wide range of topics spanning technology — such as AI and green tech — and art — such as film. Business owners and creatives will find entrepreneurship sessions and support, along with information about business grants and access to capital. Participants can choose their topics and industry interests because sessions offer separate pre-registration portals. Space Fiesta, the “flagship” kick-off event on June 11 at the Lobo Theater and Event Center, introduces participants to New Mexico’s future place in space. Space Fiesta is an “immersive experience that highlights the crucial role New Mexico plays in pioneering our journey to the stars, with presentations, interactive tech exhibits, a startup showcase, and art installations inspired by the cosmos,” according to event organizers.
Most sessions are free to attend. Find all Atomic 66 events here.
The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services Women Veterans’ Conference is on Saturday, June 14th. This year’s conference theme, “Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future”, will bring together women Veterans, community leaders, and advocates for a day of empowerment, connection, and collaboration. Registration is limited to 150 people. Scan the QR code to register.
