Emergency Grant & Loan Programs

Financial Assistance to help businesses through emergencies and continued pandemic recovery.

Most pandemic grants and loan programs have expired; however, several are still available to businesses that continue to struggle with recovery from the COVID-19 shutdowns.

Please see new opportunities and recent announcements for information about programs unrelated to emergencies and pandemic recovery.

FEDERAL LOAN RESOURCES

The Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program through the U.S. Small Business Administration helps eligible small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, and most private nonprofit organizations located in a declared disaster area that have suffered substantial economic injury.

NEW MEXICO LOAN RESOURCES

Many nonprofit Community Development Financial Institutions continue to offer emergency loans to small businesses that have been impacted by changed market conditions.

REGIONAL LOAN RESOURCES

The Working Now Revolving Loan Fund was created to respond to the needs of pandemic-affected businesses; however, the program has continued. It offers loans from the North Central New Mexico Economic Development District using funds provided by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. These are small loans of up to $10,000 aimed at businesses located in the counties of Colfax, Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Santa Fe, or Taos. Apply through the NCNMEDD.

EMERGENCY GRANTS
