The Native Farmer and Rancher Project is a year-long program that provides comprehensive support to Native producers to help them develop their agricultural businesses. The program, which starts on November 20, is accepting applications until November 6, 2025.
The 2025 Native Farmer and Rancher Project is funded by the Native American Agriculture Fund and hosted by Arrowhead Center‘s American Indian Business Enterprise Center at New Mexico State University.
Participants receive training, certification, a $650 financial stipend, farming supplies, and access to resources such as a commercial kitchen. Technical support includes one-on-one consulting on topics like freeze-drying, food manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.
