UNM Rainforest Innovations, formerly known as STC. UNM, works closely with inventors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, new and established companies, and  patent lawyers to bring innovative technologies to market.

The University of New Mexico collaborated with government agencies and the business community to create an integrated, mixed-use community that is multi-dimensional, where research and commercial labs, science and technology companies, educational programs, business services, support services, and commercial and retail businesses share space and an incubator.
