The Pueblo of Pojoaque is one of six Tewa villages in the northern Rio Grande Valley. The growth of Santa Fe and the Northern New Mexico region, including the corridor along US Highway 285/84 to Espanola, has enabled the Pueblo to implement its long-term land use plan. This plan calls for the strategic planning of commercial development and the leasing of commercially desirable lands.
