The New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Outdoor Recreation Division and CNM Ingenuity’s Startups and Small Business team are partnering to help outdoor companies prepare pitches for delivery at the Outdoor Economics Conference in Santa Fe on October 25. The deadline to apply is September 22, and accepted applicants are eligible for up to $15,000 in prizes.

Startups with high-growth potential and a core offering that touches outdoor recreation, the environment, and/or health and wellness are encouraged to apply to present at Adventure Pitch 2023. Accepted participants must attend pitch coaching sessions on Oct. 13 and 17, and the company founder or CEO must attend the Outdoor Economics Conference in Santa Fe on Oct. 24 and 25.  

Pitches will take place on October 25th at 11:00 am in front of an audience that includes judges who will announce the winner immediately after the event completion. There is no fee to pitch, and competition participants receive free admission to the conference, room and board for one participant during the conference, and their choice of a ‘Santa Fe Adventure,’ which includes activities like mountain biking, guided walks, and an art walk.
