The Fulcrum Fund, managed by 516 Arts in Albuquerque, is offering grants to pandemic-impacted visual artists and art spaces in New Mexico. Applications will be accepted through April 2.
Created in 2016 to support visual art projects, the Fulcrum Fund shifted in 2020 to provide emergency relief grants of $1,000 to $5,000 to help visual artists and art cooperatives pay for essentials such as rent, utilities, and groceries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Individual artists are eligible for up to $1,000. Artist-run or alternative art spaces focused on visual arts are eligible for up to $5,000. A total of $60,000 will be awarded during the current round that ends on April 2.
