Nine pre-seed and series-seed New Mexico startup businesses will compete for $10,000 at this year’s Ski Lift Pitch on February 4 at Taos Ski Valley. Organized by Activate NM and powered by CNM Ingenuity, the Ski Lift Pitch brings together New Mexico’s best startups and world-class VC funds for a fun-filled day on the slopes. The competitors have already been selected, but entrepreneurs can attend to learn what a successful pitch looks like.

Competitors will spend the morning pitching in three rounds of semi-final pitches while riding the ski lift with investor judges. In the afternoon, three finalists will be chosen to give a 5-minute pitch with a prepared pitch deck at the ski lodge in front of all attendees and a panel of finalist judges, followed by a 3-minute Q&A between judges and each competitor. Judges are a combination of investors, economic developers, and successful entrepreneurs. Competitors represent scalable businesses with proven potential for significant high-growth potential.

The event begins at 5:30 pm on Monday, February 3, 2025, with a reception and networking. Ski Lift pitches begin at 9:00 am on Tuesday, February 4. Non-participants can join the audience at the lodge for the finalist pitches at 12:45 pm.
