STC.UNM works closely with inventors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, new and established companies, and patent lawyers to bring innovative technologies to market.

In collaboration with UNM, government and the business community, STC is at work on a project called Innovate ABQ, whose vision is to create an integrated, mixed-use community that is multi-dimensional, where research and commercial labs, science and technology companies, educational programs, business services, support services, and commercial and retail businesses share space and an incubator. Innovate ABQ is also set to manage the umbrella initiative Innovate New Mexico, meant to create statewide access to resources. Finance New Mexico is an initial supportive partner of Innovate ABQ.
